David Traub
David Traub is a regular speaker at The Living Course (TLC) and related courses offered by the Personal Development Community Organization, Inc. (PDCO). He often assists with some of our Advanced and Leadership Courses and will be the lead instructor at the next basic TLC course offered in Ft. Lauderdale on September 5-7, 2014.
We are grateful to have David’s assistance and are always excited when he can be a part along with our other locally based instructors. This interview is an opportunity to know more about him and his background and what he offers to those involved with our courses as well as through his own organizations and personal coaching services.
1. So David, please tell us a little about yourself, your training and what makes you passionate about being a part of TLC and your own organizations.
I’ve been coaching, teaching, and training individuals for over 20 years. My background includes leading seminars and workshops, nationally and internationally, on Wealth and Abundance, Personal Development, and Relationships for individuals and corporations worldwide.
For the past seventeen years, I’ve traveled extensively, delivering, and training others to deliver, powerful personal development programs designed to inspire and empower people to create the life of their dreams. I’ve conducted personal and business seminars nationally and internationally, and been privileged to witness profound breakthroughs and extraordinary learning experiences for thousands of people.
I’ve coached and mentored for industry luminaries such as Joe Vitale, Bob Doyle, and others. I’m grateful for the ability to connect with my clients, inspire them to take on more than they ever believed possible, and transform their lives.
My career, prior to becoming a transformational leadership coach and trainer, was in the computer programming and software development industries where, for 33 years, I created, owned and sold several successful entrepreneurial businesses. It was in this experience that I first practically and effectively discovered both the Law of Attraction and learned personal transformational skills. It was this that first prepared me to be a coach and mentor for others wanting to change the direction of their lives – in any area.
2. What motivates you to coach people in personal growth?
I facilitate prosperity in all areas of my client’s lives. Ultimately, my clients remember that they are loved, and connected to something far greater than themselves. This frees them to be the best they can be in any area they choose to excel in.
I love and honor the human process even though it can sometimes be confusing or painful. I help my clients discover what makes their lives meaningful, purposeful and rich. My purpose is to remind my clients that they are far greater than any circumstance, and, with patience, they can create anything. Although I lead with love, I spent 35 years in the business world so I live and coach from a very practical, pragmatic perspective.
Although I spent over 30 years programming computers, I have a sensitive heart and keen intuition. I was once driven only by my mind, but now my heart gets to drive most of the time. This is no small accomplishment for a man that spent much of his life completely emotionally shut down.
I have a dream to make the world one big family. I am perhaps a bit ambitious, but it gets me excited to think about and move towards it. I am working to make my dream come true by training teachers and coaches to wake people up to what is possible for them.
3. What should anyone coming to a TLC Course led or co-taught by you expect to learn or experience while with you?
4. You recently traveled to Russia where you presented multiple seminars. What was that experience like for you and will your time in September at TLC have any common ground?
5. You do a great deal of personal coaching. Tell us something about that and how it ties to the things you teach in larger groups.
